We Build Custom Computers

 When
Jon "Maddog" Hall decided that the system he had been using for the
last seven years was "getting a little long in the tooth", he came to
Cosmos Engineering to help him design the system of his dreams.
After many email exchanges, telephone calls, international consultation
with various experts and even an on-site visit to our facilities by
Maddog, we built him the system you see here.
It is a dual core Athlon 64 system built around an advanced ASUS
motherboard in a full tower aluminum Lian Li case and a 535W Enermax
power supply. Dual Maxtor 250GB SATA hard drive and dual Plexor DL
DVD+/-RW provide mass storage. The eVGA Nvidia VGA card supports two
DVI monitors and the two TY capture cards support recording from three
simultaneous sources including one HDTV source.
The drives were partitioned in consultation with Maddog and SuSE 10.0
was installed and drivers were found and integrated to support all the
hardware. Many 3rd party packages were installed and configured to
support the video card, TV capture card and other hardware.
